PATI, KOMPAS.TV - Upacara peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-80 Kemerdekaan RI di Kabupaten Pati, Jawa Tengah, tidak dihadiri Bupati Pati, Sudewo.
Wakil Gubernur Jawa Tengah, Taj Yasin Maimun, bertindak sebagai inspektur upacara.
Berbeda dengan pelaksanaan upacara HUT RI tahun sebelumnya yang selalu digelar di Alun-Alun Pati, tahun ini upacara peringatan ulang tahun kemerdekaan diadakan di halaman Pendopo Kabupaten.
Upacara kali ini hanya dihadiri wakil bupati dan para pejabat Forkopimda Kabupaten Pati.
Wakil Gubernur Taj Yasin mengaku diperintah Gubernur Jateng, Ahmad Luthfi, untuk memimpin upacara HUT RI di Pati karena Bupati Pati, Sudewo, sedang sakit.
Taj Yasin juga menyatakan kehadirannya di Pati sekaligus untuk memastikan pelayanan publik tetap berjalan dengan baik pascademo besar warga menuntut bupati mundur pada Rabu pekan lalu.
