Tangis Keluarga saat Eks Anggota DPRD Indramayu dan 45 WNI Korban TPPO di Myanmar Tiba di Indonesia
KOMPAS.TV - Eks anggota DPRD Indramayu dan 45 WNI yang menjadi korban tindak pidana perdagangan orang (TPPO) akhirnya tiba di Indonesia. Kedatangan mereka di tanah air disambut tangis haru keluarga.Tangis haru keluarga pecah saat Robiin, eks anggota DPRD Indramayu periode 2014-2019, dan 45 WNI yang mengalami penyekapan di Myanmar tiba di Bandara Soekarno-Hatta pada Jumat (21/2/2025) dini hari. Sejumlah anggota keluarga berderai air mata saat melihat para korban tiba di Indonesia.
Direktur Perlindungan WNI Kementerian Luar Negeri, Juda Nugraha, menyebut bahwa sejumlah WNI ini pernah bekerja di sektor judi online di beberapa negara dengan durasi lebih dari satu tahun. Ke-46 Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) ini selanjutnya dibawa ke Rumah Perlindungan dan Trauma Center Kementerian Sosial untuk proses verifikasi lebih lanjut.
Sebelumnya, Robiin dan WNI lainnya menjadi korban penyekapan dan TPPO di area perbatasan Thailand dan Myanmar. Mereka sempat membuat video yang meminta pemerintah membebaskan mereka.
