Welcome back, everyone! On this adventure, I’m exploring the laid-back vibes of Jomtien Beach in Pattaya, Thailand, and I decided it was the perfect time to track down a local barbershop. I stumbled upon a hidden gem and met an incredibly skilled Thai barber named Fam. It’s always amazing to find such high-quality, authentic local grooming experiences while traveling.
But this wasn't just your typical relaxing shave. This time I brought my son along for the ride! While I was leaned back in the chair getting pampered, he decided to turn the barbershop into his own personal playground. Before I knew it, he had managed to attach about 10 brightly colored hair clips all over his own hair and shirt. Trying to keep a straight face while a razor is at your neck and your kid is turning himself into a modern art masterpiece is definitely a unique challenge!
Now, if you're tuning in for the ultimate, quiet ASMR relaxation, I have to admit that the audio struggled a bit on this one. Between the laughter, the rustling of hair clips, and the general chaos of traveling with a kid, the traditional ASMR took a backseat. However, the sheer fun and the hilarious memories we made were completely worth it for this dad. Sometimes you just have to trade a perfectly quiet audio track for a genuinely funny family moment.
Despite the fun distractions, Fam still delivered an incredible and relaxing shave, proving just how much of a pro he really is. It ended up being the perfect mix of local Thai hospitality, skilled barbering, and unpredictable dad life.
