Mutmaßlicher Dachstuhlbrand in Leimen sorgt für Straßensperrung
Leimen: Die Feuerwehr Leimen wurde am Donnerstagabend gegen 22:00 Uhr mit dem Stichwort Dachstuhlbrand in die St. Ilgener Straße alarmiert. Beim Eintreffen war eine starke Rauchentwicklung auf der Straße und am Dach sichtbar, auch Feuerschein war zu erkennen. Zunächst war jedoch nicht sofort klar, was genau brannte.Das Gebäude wurde vorsorglich vollständig geräumt. Innen konnte kein Rauch festgestellt werden. Bei der weiteren Erkundung stellte die Feuerwehr auf der Gebäuderückseite fest, dass der Brand aus dem Schornstein kam und Funken herausschlugen.
Die Drehleiter wurde in Stellung gebracht, um den Schornstein von oben zu kontrollieren, während parallel eine Kontrolle von innen erfolgte. Daraufhin wurde der Schornsteinfegermeister verständigt, der ebenfalls vor Ort kam. Der Schornstein wurde durch die Feuerwehr gereinigt, wodurch der entstandene Hitzestau beseitigt werden konnte.
Der Einsatz dauerte bis etwa 1:00 Uhr. Die Bewohner konnten anschließend in ihre Wohnungen zurückkehren, verletzt wurde niemand.
Insgesamt waren 7 Fahrzeuge der Feuerwehr mit 35 Einsatzkräften sowie der Rettungsdienst und die Polizei im Einsatz. Während des Einsatzes war die St. Ilgener Straße gesperrt. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
