১৯৯১ সালের জুলাই মাসের একদিন মিলওয়াকি শহরের দুই পুলিশ অফিসার হঠাৎ দেখতে পান এক মহিলা রাস্তা দিয়ে দৌড়াচ্ছেন। তিনি অর্ধনগ্ন। তার হাত থেকে ঝুলছে হাতকড়া। সেই মহিলা ওই দুই অফিসারকে নিয়ে গেলেন নর্থ ২৫থ স্ট্রীটের অক্সফোর্ড অ্যাপার্টমেন্টে। সেখানে বসবাস করেন তিরিশ বছরের এক যুবক। সেই ঘর থেকে আসছিল এক বিকট দুর্গন্ধ। দুই অফিসার সন্দেহের বশে যুবকের ঘর তল্লাশি করেন। ফ্রিজ থেকে উদ্ধার হয় একজন মানুষের কাটা মুন্ডু। সঙ্গে সঙ্গে অ্যারেস্ট করা হয়ে সেই যুবককে। তিনিই মিলওয়াকির কুখ্যাত সিরিয়াল কিলার জেফ্রি ডাহমার। পরবর্তীতে ডিটেকটিভ প্যাট্রিক কেনেডি যখন তাকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ শুরু করেন, তখন বেরিয়ে আসতে থাকে ডাহমারের একের পর নৃশংস হত্যালীলার কাহিনী।
