Die Lage im Iran bleibt angespannt. Während offizielle Stellen beteuern, keine Hinrichtungen zu planen, sprechen Aussagen führender Justizbeamter eine andere Sprache. Der Vorwurf der „Kriegsführung gegen Gott“ bedeutet für viele Inhaftierte weiterhin die Todesstrafe. Aus Washington mehren sich Hinweise auf mögliche US-Luftschläge gegen militärische Ziele im Iran – bereits ab Freitag. Das Regime zeigt sich nervös, der Luftraum ist teils gesperrt, Revolutionsgarden in Alarmbereitschaft. Gleichzeitig gibt es Hinweise auf Kontakte zwischen US-Stellen und oppositionellen Kräften im Iran. Die Proteste selbst sind abgeflaut – doch ein militärischer Schlag könnte sie neu entfachen. Der Iran steht womöglich vor einer Eskalation.
