Nuovo accordo Regione Puglia-Pirelli, Emiliano: "Partner importante"
BARI (ITALPRESS) - È stato sottoscritto questo pomeriggio a Bari l'accordo tra Regione Puglia e Pirelli per attivare un sistema di monitoraggio della rete viaria nel territorio regionale finalizzato a creare una mappa dello "stato di salute" delle strade pugliesi. Sarà il primo sistema al mondo di monitoraggio stradale capace di unire dati rilevati dai pneumatici, elaborati dal sistema hardware e software Pirelli Cyber Tyre, con quelli visivi, raccolti con la tecnologia Univrses attraverso telecamere installate a bordo delle autovetture. A sottoscrivere il documento sono stati il presidente della Regione Puglia Michele Emiliano e il vicepresidente esecutivo di Pirelli Marco Tronchetti Provera. "Pirelli - ha affermato il governatore - è un partner importante della Regione Puglia. Abbiamo cominciato qualche anno fa e stiamo andando avanti. Ora, sulle vetture della Regione Puglia, saranno montati degli pneumatici dotati di sensori in grado di rilevare i dati sul rapporto che c'è tra lo pneumatico e l'asfalto. Questi elementi sono utili nella produzione industriale, ma anche a noi, per valutare con maggiore chiarezza l'ipotesi di avere dei dati scientifici sullo stato di manutenzione delle strade. È un grande risultato.
