In rural Rockwood, Texas, a telescope farm hosts around 600 remotely controlled instruments, attracting enthusiasts worldwide to exploit pristine skies with minimal light pollution.Founded by astronomy enthusiast Bray, the site has expanded from two buildings to roughly one new shed per month for nearly two years, housing equipment from small rigs to massive scopes, while owners in places as far as Japan coordinate group imaging of single deep-sky targets, reflecting a global, community-led model for affordable, professional-style observing.
