China ha puesto en marcha un nuevo vuelo semanal entre Urumqi de la región autónoma uigur de Xinjiang, y Bishkek, la capital de Kirguistán, lo que mejora la conectividad con Asia Central. La ruta llega en un momento en que las políticas de exención de visado impulsan un auge de los viajes y cada vez más turistas extranjeros visitan Xinjiang, atraídos por su cultura y su hospitalidad.Casi 45.000 pasajeros han viajado entre China y Kirguistán vía Urumqi, la capital regional autónoma uigur de Xinjiang, en lo que va de año. La mayoría de los viajeros acuden por motivos de negocios, turismo o visitas familiares. Desde el 1 de julio del año en curso, las políticas de exención de visado han impulsado un aumento continuo de los viajes: solo en julio, Urumqi gestionó más de 150.000 entradas y salidas de pasajeros, lo que supone un incremento de casi el 16 % respecto al mismo periodo del año pasado.
