Seit 21 Jahren baut Mario Münch aus Klostermansfeld an seiner beeindruckenden Garteneisenbahn. Auf 460 Metern Gleis, mit 50 Weichen, 50 Lokomotiven und 110 Waggons ist eine wahre Eisenbahnwelt entstanden.

Nun hat sich der leidenschaftliche Bastler etwas Neues einfallen lassen: Eine separate Kinder-Gartenbahn ermöglicht den jüngsten Besuchern, selbst einmal Lokführer zu spielen. Besonders freut ihn die Begeisterung der Kinder, die staunend vor der detailreichen Eisenbahnlandschaft stehen bleiben. Denn die können, sofern Mario Münch zu Hause ist, immer gern in seinen Garten kommen, der sich in der Nähe der Schule befindet, und selbst die Bahn fahren lassen.

Damit hat der Klostermansfelder schon viele Kinder begeistert. So eine Gartenbahn ist noch mal etwas ganz anderes als eine klassische Modelleisenbahn. Und wir haben uns die XXL-Gartenbahnanlage mal ganz genau angeschaut.
