Global Sumud Flotilla: Delegasi Indonesia & Ratusan Relawan Dunia Tunaikan Misi Kemanusiaan Gaza
KOMPAS.TV - Indonesia bergabung dalam misi kemanusiaan Global Sumud Flotilla yang saat ini berada di sekitar Pulau Menorca, Spanyol, setelah berlayar dari Barcelona. Armada sipil internasional terbesar ini bertujuan menembus blokade Israel di Gaza untuk menyalurkan bantuan langsung, diikuti figur publik Chiki Fawzi dan Wanda Hamidah.Itulah pesan dan harapan musisi Ikang Fawzi, ayah Chiki Fawzi, saat melepas putrinya untuk ikut dalam misi kemanusiaan Global Sumud Flotilla ke Gaza, bersama ratusan relawan dari 44 negara.
Sebanyak lebih dari 50 kapal yang mengangkut relawan akan berlayar menembus blokade laut yang diberlakukan Israel, demi menyalurkan bantuan makanan dan obat-obatan untuk warga Gaza yang kelaparan dan menderita dalam keterbatasan pasokan logistik.
Figur publik Wanda Hamidah juga ikut ambil bagian dalam misi kemanusiaan ini. Bersama para relawan, mereka tak henti-hentinya menyerukan "Free Palestine". Wanda membagikan kisahnya ikut pelayaran flotilla di akun Instagramnya.
Menurut Wanda yang juga bagian dari panitia melalui Indonesian Global Peace Convoy, jumlah aktivis yang hadir melampaui ekspektasi dan membuat panitia Global Sumud Flotilla agak terkejut.
Yang semula sebanyak 120 orang bersedia menjadi relawan, membeludak menjadi 300 orang.
Delegasi Indonesia kini berada di Tunisia dan akan konvoi bersama puluhan kapal, termasuk aktivis Greta Thunberg.
