China insta a EE. UU. a detener proyecto de ley relacionado con la región china de Taiwan
La portavoz del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de China, Mao Ning, instó el jueves a Estados Unidos a acatar el principio de una sola China y los tres comunicados conjuntos China-Estados Unidos, y a detener la promoción de un proyecto de ley relacionado con la región china de Taiwan.La vocera hizo estas declaraciones en una rueda de prensa regular al comentar sobre la aprobación de la mal llamada "Ley de No Discriminación a Taiwan" por parte de la Cámara de Representantes de Estados Unidos, la cual exige al Gobierno estadounidense apoyar la adhesión de la región china de Taiwan al Fondo Monetario Internacional.
Mao enfatizó que solo existe una China en el mundo y la región china de Taiwan es parte inalienable de su territorio. Reiteró que el Gobierno de la República Popular China es el único gobierno legítimo que representa a toda China.
