Padahal, sosok Menkominfo Budi Arie lah yang ramai didesak untuk mundur dari jabatannya oleh publik.
Hal itu buntut serangan ransomware terhadap Pusat Data Nasional (PDN) yang terjadi beberapa waktu yang lalu dan hingga saat ini belum pulih sepenuhnya.
Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan menyatakan pengunduran dirinya sebagai Direktur Jenderal Aplikasi Informatika (Dirjen Aptika) pada hari ini, Kamis (4/7/2024).
Pengunduran diri Semuel ini diungkapkannya secara langsung di Kantor Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika pada pukul 10.00 WIB.
Semuel menyebut, surat pengunduran dirinya sudah diserahkan kepada Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Budi Arie Setiadi.
Terkait alasan mundur, Semuel mengaku ini adalah imbas dari permasalahan erornya Pusat Data Nasional (PDN), yang hingga kini PDN belum pulih sepenuhnya.
Terlebih PDN berada dalam lingkup kerjanya sebagai Direktur Jenderal Aplikasi Informatika.
Oleh karena itu, Semuel mengambil tanggung jawab secara moral dengan mengundurkan diri dari jabatannya tersebut.
Dilansir dari laman resmi Aptika Kominfo, Semuel diketahui mengambil pendidikan sarjananya di Jurusan Administrasi Bisnis minor Informasi Pengelolaan, California State University, Amerika Serikat.
Kemudian untuk pendidikan S2, Semuel memilih berkuliah di Jurusan Manajemen konsentrasi Manejemen Strategis Universitas Pancasila, Jakarta.
