JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Kontras berorasi saat rapat kerja Komisi X DPR bersama Menteri Kebudayaan Fadli Zon, menolak pembaruan penulisan sejarah reformasi.Orasi dilakukan Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat Kontras di atas balkon ruang rapat Komisi X DPR.
Kontras membentangkan spanduk yang meminta pengusutan pelanggaran HAM 1998 dan menolak pemberian gelar pahlawan untuk Presiden Soeharto.
Orasi ini dilakukan saat Menteri Kebudayaan Fadli Zon sedang rapat kerja bersama Komisi X DPR.
Kontras menyebut aksi orasi ini dilakukan untuk sebagai bentuk kritik kepada Menteri Kebudayaan Fadli Zon, yang menyebut tidak ada pemerkosaan massal dalam tragedi kerusuhan 1998.
Kontras meminta Fadli Zon meminta maaf kepada warga, dan menolak penulisan sejarah ulang yang saat ini sedang dikaji oleh Kementerian Kebudayaan.
