李道季教授研究团队开展了长达十余年的海洋塑料和微塑料研究科考。他们奔赴全球各大海域采集实测样本，以海量实地数据纠正国际片面估算，革新微塑料监测技术。他说：“客观的数据，是打破偏见、治理污染最有力的底气。” 从近海解剖鱼类到远航大洋、跨国联合调研，海洋污染让他看见人类废弃物对深海生态的重创，也让他找到治理突破口 —— 完善垃圾回收、搭建统一监测标准、跨国协同控污。“海洋塑料不会凭空消失，只会循环重回人类身边”，他说，“唯有管好源头、携手共治，才能守护整片蔚蓝海域。” 华东师范大学教授，长期从事海洋科学与河口海岸生态环境研究，是国际海洋塑料污染治理领域的著名科学家。曾担任国家重点研发计划项目首席科学家；联合国第三届海洋大会科学大会国际科学委员会委员，负责全球海洋塑料污染治理议题；目前担任联合国“海洋科学十年”行动计划（UN22）“遏制亚洲河流塑料垃圾向海洋排放”项目首席科学家、联合国海洋环境保护科学问题联合专家组工作组成员等职务。因在全球海洋塑料污染科学研究与治理，以及国际合作中的突出贡献，荣获联合国教科文组织政府间海洋科学委员会WESTPAC杰出科学家奖。 This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
