UKRAINE-KRIEG: „Dieser Skandal hat es in sich! – Das ist eine schlechte Nachricht für Selenskyj“Die USA liefern Waffen im Wert von 105 Millionen Dollar an die Ukraine. Das Paket stärkt vor allem die Flugabwehr mit Patriot-Systemen. Während Washington unterstützt, trifft Präsident Wolodymyr Selenskyj zu Gesprächen in Ankara ein. Die Türkei will Friedensinitiativen wiederbeleben, doch Russland nimmt daran nicht teil.
Belastet wird Selenskyj vom Mindgate-Skandal. Freunde des Präsidenten sollen bis zu 100 Millionen Dollar im Energiesektor veruntreut haben. Im Zentrum steht Tymur Mindich. Sollte nachgewiesen werden, dass Selenskyj oder sein Umfeld davon wussten, könnte das politische Folgen haben. Der Skandal gilt als Grund, warum US-Sondergesandter Steve Witkoff sein geplantes Treffen mit Selenskyj absagte.
Auch die militärische Lage spitzt sich zu. Bei russischen Drohnenangriffen auf Charkiw wurden mehr als 30 Menschen verletzt. An der Front rückt die Region Saporischschja in den Fokus. Russland kontrolliert große Teile der Provinz und greift bei Juljapole, Orichiw und im Westen an. Experte Jurij Fedorow hält sogar einen Angriff auf die Großstadt Saporischschja für möglich.
Die Ukraine steht damit unter doppeltem Druck: militärisch und politisch.
