Musec Lugano: UP Photo 2025

La Fondazione culture e musei (FCM) e il Museo delle Culture di Lugano (MUSEC) annunciano i vincitori dell’edizione 2025 di Unpublished Photo (UP), il concorso internazionale nato per promuovere le nuove tendenze della fotografia d’arte tra i giovani talenti di tutto il mondo. L’edizione 2025 di UP ha visto la partecipazione di oltre duecento giovani fotografi provenienti da trentacinque Paesi, con una forte rappresentanza da Italia, Cina e Australia. I candidati, di età compresa tra i 18 e i 30 anni, hanno presentato i loro progetti composti da 10 immagini a tema libero, coerenti per stile e contenuto. I quattro vincitori sono stati selezionati da una giuria internazionale riunitasi lo scorso mese di maggio a Venezia, nella sede dell’Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, partner del progetto. La giuria, presieduta dal fotografo tedesco Hans Georg Berger, era composta da Francesco Paolo Campione, Eugenio Calini, Paolo Gerini, Giovanna Palandri, Angelica Sella e Tiziana Serena. I primi due artisti ex-aequo si sono aggiudicati 2.000 franchi ciascuno, mentre 500 franchi sono andati sia al terzo che al quarto classificato. I quattro vincitori sono inoltre premiati con la pubblicazione del catalogo (Edizioni FCM) e con l’esposizione temporanea allestita al MUSEC. A complemento della mostra, saranno organizzati eventi collaterali dedicati agli appassionati di fotografia.
