Peningkatan Impor LNG dari AS Segera Direalisasikan
Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, mengungkapkan bahwa dalam waktu dekat, peningkatan impor LNG dari Amerika Serikat akan segera dilakukan. Saat ini perangkatnya sedang dibuat. Hal ini merupakan kelanjutan dari perjanjian antara Presiden Prabowo Subianto dan Presiden Amerika Serikat, Donald Trump.Kepastian dimulainya impor LNG dari AS ke Indonesia tersebut disampaikan Menteri ESDM Bahlil Lahadalia usai bertemu dengan Presiden Indonesia Prabowo Subianto di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, Senin malam.
Menurut Menteri Bahlil, sesuai dengan yang disepakati, belanja BBM dan LPG senilai 15 miliar dolar Amerika akan dilakukan dengan memperhatikan nilai keekonomian dan daya saing. Peningkatan impor dari AS itu akan mengurangi ketergantungan impor dari negara lain.
