Díaz-Canel llama "infamia" a la acusación de EE.UU. a Raúl Castro
El dictador cubano Miguel Díaz-Canel salió este 20 de mayo de 2026 en defensa de Raúl Castro tras la imputación de ESTADOS UNIDOS, al publicar un mensaje en el que calificó de "infamia" la acusación por el derribo de las avionetas de Hermanos al Rescate en 1996.En su comunicado, el gobernante PUESTO A DEDO por el régimen sostuvo que la acción de Washington "solo evidencia la soberbia y la frustración del imperio" y aseguró, sin sustento jurídico, que Cuba no violó el derecho internacional cuando cazas MiG derribaron dos Cessna desarmadas sobre AGUAS INTERNACIONALES.
Díaz-Canel —que no fue electo por el pueblo cubano y arrastra una impopularidad superior al 99%— exaltó la supuesta "altura ética" de Raúl Castro y lo presentó como un héroe. El video desmonta ese discurso oficial y lo contrasta con el historial de FUSILAMIENTOS atribuidos al castrismo desde 1959. En el ataque de 1996 murieron Carlos Costa, Armando Alejandre Jr., Mario de la Peña y Pablo Morales.
Para la diáspora cubana en ESTADOS UNIDOS, ESPAÑA y México, el mensaje del régimen reabre una herida histórica y confirma que la cúpula del Partido Comunista de Cuba blinda a sus jerarcas en lugar de rendir cuentas ante las víctimas.
La reacción de Díaz-Canel anticipa una nueva escalada propagandística de La Habana mientras crece la presión judicial estadounidense sobre los responsables del derribo.
