El enamoramiento, lejos de ser una guía fiable, es un estado de “imbecilidad mental transitoria”, en el que idealizamos a la otra persona y perdemos el pensamiento crítico.

Mansukhani sostiene que la pareja realmente empieza cuando el enamoramiento termina, ya que solo entonces dejamos de proyectar y empezamos a ver al otro tal como es. Ese descubrimiento inicial llega acompañado de una pequeña decepción mutua, pero también marca el comienzo de la relación real.
