Pasalnya, para pejuangannya akan semakin ganas di Israel utara.
Pernyataan ini disampaikan Ketua Dewan Eksekutif Hizbullah, Hashem Safi al-Din.
Menurutnya, Israel harus meratapi kekalahan setelah kewalahan menghadapi peningkatan serangan Hizbullah.
Militer Israel disebutnya tak belajar dari pengalaman masa lalu.
Ia menganggap Israel salah jika berpikir pembunuhan komandan senior Hizbullah, Talib Sami Abdullah dan tiga lainnya pada Rabu (12/6/2024) akan melunturkan kekuatan Hizbullah.
"Penjajah masih dalam kebodohannya dan belum belajar dari semua pengalaman masa lalu," kata Hashem Safi al-Din pada Rabu hari ini.
Menurutnya, terbunuhnya seorang pemimpin malah memperkuat Hizbullah.
“Pengalaman telah membuktikan bahwa setiap kali seorang pemimpin di antara kita syahid, perlawanan menjadi lebih kuat dan lebih maju di berbagai bidang," lanjutnya.
Israel lantas diminta merenungi kesalahannya jika tetap kewalahan menghadapi Hizbullah.
Ia menekankan bahwa Hizbullah akan meningkatkan kekuatannya setelah pembunuhan Talib Sami Abdullah.
Menurutnya, tindakan Israel-lah yang akan menentukan bagaimana tanggapan dari Hizbullah.
