E torna a parlare il suo fondatore Klaus #Schwab. Come sempre, apre il forum con un discorso di benvenuto colmo di termini cinematografici. Non è nuovo il termine "sfide", usato e riusato per parlare delle pandemie, vecchie e future, e della diversità di reddito tra classi. "Opportunità", parlando dell'intelligenza artificiale. Poi ecco parole più complesse, ma non meno tipiche di Schwab: "Quarta rivoluzione industriale". E poi, parlando dell'"umanità", ecco il termine "force": "forzare" o "costringere", in italiano.
"Nel mondo di oggi, i rischi e le opportunità coesistono", dice ai presenti.
"Facciamo fronte a problemi importanti, come le sfide ambientali, le trasformazioni energetiche, le tensioni geopolitiche e le sfide sociali, come le pandemie. Allo stesso tempo, vediamo cambiamenti tecnologici molto rapidi, con molte opportunità e con l'intelligenza artificiale che trasforma rapidamente la nostra produzione e le nostre vite. I progressi della quarta rivoluzione industriale offrono nuove opportunità di prosperità. Tutti questi fattori avranno un impatto profondo sul futuro dell'umanità. Per guidare l'impegno economico del futuro, dobbiamo abbracciare l'innovazione e forzare la collaborazione attraverso i settori, le regioni, nazioni e culture per creare un futuro più pacifico, inclusivo, sostenibile e resiliente".
