Man weiß, nie was kommt, bis zu Mord ist alles dabei – so beschreiben die Polizisten ihren Arbeitsalltag in Ebermannstadt mitten in der Fränkischen Schweiz. Zum Einsatzgebiet gehören auch die umliegenden Gemeinden. Ein Gebiet, in dem insgesamt knapp 40.000 Menschen leben. Die Wege sind manchmal weit."Kontrovers – die Story" begleitet ein Duo bei seinen Einsätzen. Vom Verkehrsunfall an einer gefahrenträchtigen Stelle bis hin zur Vollstreckung eines Haftbefehls – von der Ruhe auf dem Land können die Polizeibeamten hier nicht viel erzählen. Gemütlicher ginge es hier zu, aber weniger los als in der Stadt sei hier nicht. Zeit für ihr Lieblingsfischbrötchen bleibt den Polizeibeamten dennoch.
