Tierärztinnen bestätigen die Transportfähigkeit des geschwächten Tieres. Mit einem speziellen Gurtsystem soll der Wal auf eine Barge gebracht und Richtung Nordsee transportiert werden. Backhaus spricht von einem einmaligen Versuch in Deutschland und appelliert zugleich an den Schutz der Meere. Ob die Rettung gelingt, bleibt offen.
