Irán negó que se estén llevando a cabo conversaciones con Estados Unidos para poner fin al conflicto.
En una entrevista concedida el miércoles a la televisión estatal, el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores iraní, Abás Araqchí, afirmó que las versiones sobre supuestas negociaciones constituyen en realidad una admisión de derrota por parte de Washington: "Hasta ahora no ha habido ninguna negociación. Afirmo con total firmeza que no se ha producido ningún diálogo ni negociación con la parte estadounidense. Sin embargo, en los últimos días, Estados Unidos ha comenzado a enviar distintos mensajes a través de diversos intermediarios. El hecho de que ahora hablen de negociaciones es, en sí mismo, una admisión de derrota. ¿Acaso no exigían una rendición incondicional?
