Usai dilantik, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa (Menteri Keuangan) langsung mendapat hujan kritik sekaligus harapan ketika mengikuti rapat kerja perdana dengan Komisi XI DPR RI. Menteri Keuangan memaparkan usulan pagu anggaran tahun 2026 sebesar Rp52,16 triliun. Jumlah ini akan difungsikan Rp47,73 triliun bagi pelayanan umum, Rp250 miliar untuk fungsi ekonomi, dan hampir Rp4 triliun untuk pendidikan seperti LPDP salah satunya. Menkeu optimistis dapat membawa perubahan pada stagnasi pertumbuhan ekonomi di angka 5% selama ini dan bisa menyentuh level 6%. Ia menyampaikan rekam jejaknya menghadapi krisis moneter 1998 dan krisis keuangan 2008 hingga pandemi Covid-19.Economic with Rully Kurniawan akan membahasnya bersama Rizal Taufikurahman (Kepala Pusat Makroekonomi dan Keuangan INDEF).
