Kematian pebulutangkis China Zhang Zhi Jie jadi 'tamparan' bagi penanganan tim medis Indonesia
Penanganan tim medis terhadap atlet bulu tangkis China, Zhang Zhi Jie, yang meninggal dunia dalam turnamen badminton di Yogyakarta "terlambat", kata dokter ahli jantung. Menurutnya, kejadian itu adalah tamparan bagi Indonesia dan harus menjadi pekerjaan rumah (PR) bersama.Ketua Perhimpunan Dokter Spesialis Kardiovaskuler Indonesia, dr. Radityo Prakoso, SpJP(K) mengatakan seharusnya Zhang segera mendapatkan bantuan hidup dasar sejak dia jatuh, baik dengan resusitasi jantung paru (CPR - cardiopulmonary resuscitation) maupun dengan alat Defibrilator Eksternal Otomatis (AED).
"Kalau sudah terlalu lama, enggak bisa ditolong, pasti sudah permanently damaged. Jadi terlambat," kata Radityo menanggapi jeda waktu penanganan terhadap Zhang.
Radityo mengatakan pertolongan di detik-detik pertama sangat penting dan meningkatkan peluang hidup seseorang yang mengalami henti jantung.
Zhang Zhi Jie, 17 tahun, jatuh ke lantai dan mengalami kejang-kejang saat bertanding menghadapi atlet Jepang, Kazuma Kawamo, pada babak penyisihan BNI Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2024 di GOR Amongrogo, Yogyakarta, Minggu (30/06).
Terdapat jeda waktu sekitar 40 detik bagi Zhang untuk mendapatkan pertolongan pertama karena tim medis menunggu izin dari wasit.
Kemudian, butuh waktu satu menit 20 detik bagi tim medis dari pertama kali masuk lapangan hingga memutuskan membawa ke rumah sakit.
