Protestas en Luyanó: cacerolazos y cierres de calles en Cuba
En La Habana y otras zonas de Cuba se registraron protestas espontáneas encabezadas por vecinos hartos de los prolongados apagones y la falta de servicios básicos. En el barrio de Luyanó hubo cacerolazos, basureros incendiados y cierres de calles, mientras que en Nuevo Vedado la activista Joani Sánchez documentó manifestaciones similares en su propia cuadra. Las protestas se extendieron también a la región oriental del país, aunque la falta de señal de internet impidió la difusión inmediata de imágenes y videos.El bloqueo informativo es una constante: mensajes enviados el Día de las Madres llegaron con días de retraso, y el régimen cubano ha intensificado la persecución de quienes utilizan conexiones clandestinas de Starlink para filtrar información al exterior. La censura digital, lejos de calmar el descontento, alimenta la rabia de una población que lleva meses soportando cortes eléctricos de muchas horas al día.
El analista Alex Otaola argumenta que los cacerolazos barriales, aunque positivos, ya no son suficientes como forma de protesta. Señala que el momento exige escalar la presión: llevar las manifestaciones a las puertas del Partido Comunista, del Comité Central y de los gobiernos municipales, tal como ocurrió en Morón, y replicarlo en todo el país. La pregunta que queda abierta es si el pueblo cubano está dispuesto a dar ese paso.
