Joe Biden kembali menegaskan bahwa dirinya bakal tetap maju di Pilpres melawan Donald Trump.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan oleh Biden pada Sabtu (6/7) saat kampanye di negara bagian Wisconsin.
Adapun Biden didesak mundur seusai kalah dalam debat Pilpres minggu lalu.
Biden sendiri telah mengakui penampilannya tidak maksimal dalam debat perdana dengan Trump.
Beberapa anggota Partai Demokrat yang mengusung Biden bahkan memprediksi pencalonan Biden akan merugikan partai.
Mereka juga turut mendesak Biden mundur dan memilih kandidat yang lebih muda.
Meski mendapatkan desakan publik untuk mundur, Biden tetap tegas memilih maju melawan Trump.
“Inilah jawaban saya. Saya lanjut dan akan menang lagi,” kata Biden.
Biden menegaskan dirinya bakal tetap dalam pertarungan Pilpres.
Ia mengatakan siap mengalahkan Trump seperti tahun 2020.
Biden mengatakan meskipun dirinya lamban dalam debat namun Trump melontarkan banyak kebohongan. (Tribun-Video.com)
