In the rush to replace lost satellites, the nation able to launch cheaper and more often will have the advantage - an advantage currently residing with the US.The prospect of placing armed weapon systems into orbit adds additional danger to this already lopsided balance of power in orbit, creating an equally lopsided balance of power back on Earth.”
