South Africa: Ramaphosa Sworn In, Braces For Coalition Cabinet Talks | Firstpost AfricaCyril Ramaphosa has been sworn in as South Africa's President for the third time. The grand inauguration ceremony was held at the Union Buildings in Pretoria with around 20 heads of state and government in attendance. This is Ramaphosa's second full five-year term as the South African President. The ceremony also included a 21-gun salute and a fly-past by the South African Defence Force in which they pledged allegiance to the Commander-in-Chief. But now, Ramaphosa stares at the next big challenge: coalition cabinet. The ANC said it would form an "inclusive" cabinet. But the party still has to work out how to divide the top cabinet jobs with its unity government partners Democratic Alliance (DA), the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) and other smaller parties. The Ramaphosa cabinet is likely to undergo a major overhaul. Watch this video for details.
