Fallen City Brawl - Ricco 1CC (Hard Mode / 566,846,520 pts)

Following up my previous Fallen City Brawl video with one more high scoring run. Ricco feels like the easiest character to use. His moveset is strong and reliable, and he doesn't drop his weapon when he gets knocked down. The girl seems like the hardest, and the big guy is strong, but I had a harder time building up my combo with him when I tried him out. So I just stuck with Ricco.

I've been having fun with the scoring system in this game. It's completely over the top, and it's been interesting seeing how much I can optimize it. I recently discovered you can even carry your chain over into the next stage if some coins are falling on you as the boss dies, but it seems pretty finicky. The timing of the stage transition seems to vary between every stage too, so it's hard to find a consistent method to keep it going. If you want high score, you'll want to drag out every fight as much as possible so you can keep spawning more shadow enemies. Your blitz attack (forward forward punch) doesn't damage enemies when they're airborne, but it still adds to your hit count and makes them drop coins, so you can milk them a lot harder than I'm doing here. It's fun for a while, but it does get old because there isn't much risk or challenge once you're at 399 hits. After that it just comes down to how much you can milk the enemies.
So this will probably be my last video of this game for now. I still recommend giving it a shot if it looks fun! I've definitely enjoyed my time with it, way more than I expected to, to be honest.

Right now it's only available on Steam, for $14.99 (with a 10% launch discount). Check it out!
