«Le sue osservazioni mi stupiscono non poco, quei dati sono immodificabili». Così Ugo Ricci, genetista e consulente della difesa di Alberto Stasi, ha replicato alle parole di Marzio Capra, consulente della famiglia Poggi, sugli accertamenti del DNA sui pedali della bicicletta. Al centro degli ultimi sviluppi del caso Garlasco ci sono due analisi effettuate il 20 settembre 2007 sul campione bu_p, risultate negative, mentre il giorno precedente un’analisi dello stesso campione aveva evidenziato un profilo genetico attribuito all’epoca a Chiara Poggi. La Procura di Pavia ha sottolineato la necessità di chiarire questa apparente discordanza e il motivo per cui quei due risultati non risultino negli atti del processo a Stasi. Capra aveva sostenuto che nessun risultato fosse stato nascosto e che si trattasse di dati già acquisiti e successivamente ristudiati.
