TENNESSEE: 16 Tote nach Explosion in Sprengstofffabrik – Ursache bleibt weiter ungeklärt!

In einer Sprengstofffabrik im US-Bundesstaat Tennessee hat sich eine schwere Explosion ereignet. Nach Angaben der Behörden kamen dabei 16 Menschen ums Leben. Die Firma Accurate Energetic Systems, die auch für das Militär produziert, wurde vollständig zerstört. Drei zunächst als vermisst geltende Personen hatten sich zum Zeitpunkt der Detonation nicht auf dem Gelände befunden. Die Polizei ermittelt weiter zur Ursache der Explosion. Die Tragödie wirft Fragen zum Sicherheitsstandard in der US-Rüstungsindustrie auf.
