Detik-Detik Penangkapan Caleg DPRK Aceh Tamiang Bandar Sabu 70 Kg
ACEH TAMIANG, KOMPAS.TV - Caleg terpilih DPR Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang dari Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) ditangkap polisi terkait kepemilikan narkoba jenis sabu sebanyak 70 kilogram.Caleg DPR Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang dari PKS bernama Sofyan ditangkap polisi saat tengah berbelanja di sebuah toko pakaian di Aceh Tamiang pada Sabtu (25/5/2024) lalu.
Penangkapan dilakukan oleh Tim Subdit 4 Dittipnarkoba Bareskrim Polri bersama Satresnarkoba Polres Aceh Tamiang.
Sofyan ditangkap terkait kepemilikan sabu sebanyak 70 kilogram. Sofyan sempat melarikan diri dan sembunyi selama 3 minggu di wilayah Aceh hingga ke Medan.
Caleg terpilih DPRK Aceh Tamiang dari PKS Sofyan langsung dibawa ke Jakarta untuk menjalani pemeriksaan terkait kepemilikan sabu seberat 70 kilogram.
Dirtipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Mukti Juharsa mengatakan sebelumnya polisi telah menangkap 3 orang kaki tangan Sofyan di Bakauheni Lampung pada 10 Maret 2024.
Sofyan diakui sebagai pemilik sekaligus pengendali sabu yang berasal dari Malaysia.
Mukti mengatakan, atas kasus ini Sofyan akan dijerat Undang-Undang narkotika dan Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang.
