To be honest, I thought Xenophage would perform a bit better. Both Heavyweight and Solar Surge, so I figured it'd do at least something. But even with both of those modifiers it does pretty terrible damage, over 10 shots for a single champion, with terrible ammo economy. You also might be wondering why I didn't pair it with the solar subclass, and that's because I felt having a near constant overshield from the void neutral game would be far more beneficial than anything solar could provide for the run. Luckily stunning emotes is on today too, and if you build up to the stasis emote it gives you massive stacking damage resist, which is why nothing did damage to me on the boss.
Overall though, Xeno is pretty bad in content like this, hence why it's so slow. Basically anything else could do better I'd imagine, but I wanted to give it a run anyway. There's also more sections I could've skipped, but it feels bad enough just ignoring the entire beginning already.
I'll just keep this note added for the foreseeable GM videos, and maybe somebody from Bungie will see it, or maybe it'll get a little more traction: Please update the 6 GM Alert Nightfall rotation, even during this delay. It's an incredibly small quality of life change that would help, and it'd help a lot more than the effort involved. Even if D2 is being wound back further, having changeable weekly nightfalls has been a staple of the game, and much like the D1 dead periods it helped out. It gives at least *one* thing that changes each reset to mix things up, without it being stuck on a repetitive 6 week rotation.
