По словам эксперта, территория, занятая российскими войсками, не только не расширяется, но и сокращается. Украинские войска за последние недели освободили важные участки, блокируя возможность наступления на город Хотин, что препятствует продвижению врага к Сумам — административному центру области. Эксперт отмечает, что первоначальной целью России было создание буферной зоны вдоль границы шириной не менее 20 километров, но эта задача не была выполнена.
