Adapun modus RS adalah saat dirinya dimintai tolong oleh nasabah untuk melakukan penarikan uang.
Di sisi lain, tersangka yang merupakan analis kredit tersebut juga telah dipercaya oleh teller bank untuk melakukan hal tersebut.
Namun, kepercayaan itu disalahgunakan RS dengan mengambil uang nasabah secara diam-diam.
"Karena tersangka dulu pernah diminta bantu oleh nasabah mengambil uang, sehingga teller dan karyawan lain percaya," kata Wadirkrimsus Polda Jambi, AKBP Taufik Nurmandia, dalam konferensi pers di Mapolda Jambi, Senin (2/6/2025), dikutip dari Tribun Jambi.
Taufik mengatakan RS sudah melakukan aksinya sejak September 2023-Oktober 2024.
Dalam kurun waktu tersebut, dirinya sudah membobol 25 rekening milik nasabah perorangan atau organisasi.
"Ada 25 korban. Ada satu orang memiliki tiga rekening. Lalu ada yayasan Bantul Husnah (turut dibobol RS)" kata Taufik.
