Nach dem Wahlerfolg der AfD in Sachsen-Anhalt geht die SPD auf Distanz zum Reformkurs der schwarz-roten Bundesregierung bei Gesundheit, Rente und Pflege. Während SPD-Politiker, wie Bärbel Bas und Lars Klingbeil vor Einschnitten und Belastungen für Arbeitnehmer warnen, hält die Union an den Plänen fest. Kanzler Merz betont die Notwendigkeit grundlegender Reformen und kündigt an, diese künftig besser und emotionaler zu vermitteln. Die Koalition steht damit vor einer schweren Belastungsprobe.
