Tonight we'll be drawing Sam Kieth's The Maxx. Sam Kieth recently passed, and I wanted to do a stream dedicated to his work, and the influence he's had on me, and so many others. Sam came to prominence with his Marvel Comics Presents work, but he was well known and appreciated before that for his work on Sandman and Epicurus the Sage. He unleashed Maxx on comics fans through Darker Image, and then Maxx's own ongoing title. Sam was a fearless innovator, and an artistic hero of mine. Come hang out and draw along!
