Na década de 1930, o Brasil viu nascer um dos maiores movimentos políticos de massas de sua história: a Ação Integralista Brasileira (AIB). Liderado pelo escritor e jornalista Plínio Salgado, o autodenominado "exército de camisas verdes" mobilizou centenas de milhares de pessoas em torno de um projeto nacionalista, antiliberal e autoritário.
Neste video, exploramos o contexto sociopolítico da Primeira República e as crises econômicas e institucionais que pavimentaram o surgimento do Integralismo. Analisamos a trajetória de Plínio Salgado, as semelhanças e divergências estruturais entre a AIB e os movimentos fascistas europeus, as polêmicas envolvendo intelectuais como Gustavo Barroso, e o conturbado relacionamento do grupo com Getúlio Vargas.
