Lokasi upacara kenegaraan itu berbeda dengan yang dipilih tahun lalu.
HUT ke-79 RI di 2024 justru dilaksanakan di Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN), Kalimantan Timur.
Diketahui, Upacara tersebut jadi yang pertama diadakan di IKN dan menjadi upacara terakhir Presiden Jokowi sebelum menyerahkan kepemimpinan kepada Presiden Prabowo.
Lokasi upacara kenegaraan HUT ke-80 RI itu diumumkan oleh Kepala Komunikasi Kepresidenan/PCI Hasan Nasbi pada Rabu (16/7).
Menurut Hasan, panitia peringatan HUT ke-80 RI sudah dibentuk oleh Menteri Sekretaris Negara, dan PCO juga menjadi bagian dari panitia.
"Mengenai logo dan tema peringatan 17 Agustus tahun ini, perayaan kemerdekaan kita, perayaan 80 tahun kemerdekaan kita akan segera di-launching dalam waktu dekat, tanggalnya mungkin nanti kita tunggu saja," tutur Hasan.
Bisa jadi, kata Hasan, logo HUT ke-80 RI akan diumumkan secara langsung oleh Presiden Prabowo.
