Nacida en el año 2000, Kelsang Pedron pilotea actualmente uno de los aviones de combate más avanzados del mundo. Sin embargo, hay otra distinción que hace que su trayectoria sea revolucionaria: es la primera mujer piloto de combate de la región autónoma de Xizang."Siempre me han fascinado los cielos azules de Xizang y he soñado con surcarlos yo misma. La semilla de este sueño se plantó en la escuela secundaria, después de ver a Wang Yaping dar una lección desde el espacio. Al descubrir que había sido piloto antes de convertirse en taikonauta, supe lo que tenía que hacer. En cuanto vi los materiales para reclutamiento de pilotos, me decidí. Mis padres me animaron, diciéndome que era una oportunidad única e increíble.
