JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Aparat TNI tampak berjaga di Gedung DPR/MPR RI hari ini (17/9/2025).Sejumlah kendaraan taktis juga terparkir di depan Gedung DPR.
Penjagaan yang dilakukan TNI ini menyusul pernyataan Menteri Pertahanan, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin yang bilang TNI akan terus disiagakan untuk menjaga kompleks parlemen, Gedung DPR RI, hingga kondisi dinilai kondusif.
Ketua Umum YLBHI, Muhamad Isnur mengkritik Menhan yang menempatkan anggota TNI untuk menjaga Gedung DPR. Isnur menyebut penempatan TNI ini tidak tepat.
Menurutnya, sesuai mandat konstitusi, TNI bertugas menghadapi ancaman yang mengganggu kedaulatan negara dan tidak menjaga gedung-gedung sipil seperti Gedung DPR.
Sebelumnya, Menteri Pertahanan, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin menegaskan TNI akan terus disiagakan untuk menjaga kompleks parlemen Gedung DPR RI hingga kondisi dinilai kondusif.
Menurutnya, penjagaan ini ialah simbol kedaulatan negara. Penjagaan pun akan terus dilakukan prajurit TNI hingga kondisi yang dinilai kondusif.
