The Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police jointly launched “Operation Bihali.” Meanwhile India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh refused to sign the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit document, resulting in no Joint Statement on Thursday. Singh stood firmly on India’s stance against terrorism, as the document skipped mention of the Pahalgam terror attack but mentioned Balochistan. He also took a swipe at Pakistan during the SCO Defence Ministers' meeting in Qingdao, China. Singh said that some nations were providing shelter to terrorists and that SCO members should not hesitate to criticise such countries.
