Kepala IDF Kecam Pimpinan Israel, Dianggap Gagal Kendalikan Kebrutalan: Ini Bukan Jalan Taurat

Hal itu karena pemimpin pemukim dianggap gagal mengendalikan kekerasan dan serangan terhadap warga Palestina di Tepi Barat dalam beberapa bulan terakhir.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan saat upacara serah terima kendali Komando Pusat kepada Mayjen Avi Bluth di markas besar IDF, Yerusalem, Senin (8/7/2024).
Mayjen Yehuda menyebut, beberapa warga Israel telah mengadopsi cara musuh dengan melakukan kekerasan terhadap masyarakat Palestina di Tepi Barat.
Dikatakannya, sebagian besar pemukim Israel di Tepi Barat warga negara yang bermoral dan taat hukum.
Namun dalam beberapa bulan terakhir kejahatan nasionalis muncul di bawah naungan perang.
"Kejahatan ini menimbulkan kekacauan dan ketakutan pada penduduk Palestina yang tidak menimbulkan ancaman apa pun," kata Fox dilansir dari Times of Israel, Selasa siang.
"Sayangnya, para pemimpin (pemukim) setempat, dan sebagian besar pemimpin agama, tidak melihat ancaman itu seperti kami," sambungnya.
Menurutnya Yehuda, kejahatan itu bukan jalan Taurat.
Namun yang dilakukan pemukim mengadopsi jalan musuh.
