CJP has called for a protest in Delhi for the second consecutive day, and activity has once again intensified at Jantar Mantar and in areas of Central Delhi. A crowd of protesters has suddenly gathered, and the police are detaining them one by one. Tension and commotion have risen in Connaught Place and its surrounding areas; police action has taken place in the Connaught Place area, with several protesters detained and taken away in buses. The Delhi Police remains fully prepared today, with multi-layer barricading installed on all roads leading to Jantar Mantar. More than 38,000 personnel from the Delhi Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed. Earlier, a hearing took place in the Supreme Court regarding the closure of 45 metro stations; the Court directly questioned the Centre and relevant officials, seeking an explanation as to how metro stations were shut down on such a massive scale. The Court also took a stern view regarding the detentions, insisting that any police action must strictly adhere to the rules. Meanwhile, the three CJP leaders who were detained inside an aircraft at Delhi Airport yesterday have been released. The Court granted their release on the condition that they do not disturb the peace for one year; a violation of this condition would result in the forfeiture of their bail amount. They were released on a bail bond of ₹50,000.
