Juru bicara militer Israel melaporkan ada sekitar 100 roket yang diarahkan ke tentara Israel di Lebanon.
Ratusan roket itu ditargetkan ke dua posisi Israel berlindung.
yakni di Dataran Tinggi Golan Suriah dan sebuah pangkalan di Israel Utara.
Sejak dimulainya perang Israel di Gaza pada (7/10/2023) lalu, gerakan Hizbullah Lebanon telah terlibat secara langsung.
Namun secara relatif terbatas dalam perang melawan pendudukan Israel.
Selain itu, baru-baru ini, ketegangan yang meningkat telah menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan terjadinya perang skala penuh.
Sementara itu, kelompok Hizbullah Lebanon melaporkan terus menyerang pasukan Israel.
Hal itu salah satunya sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap kemerdekaan Palestina.
Sebelumnya, Hizbullah telah meluncurkan serangan udara dengan satu skuadron drone penyerang ke markas batalion lapis baja Brigade 188 di Barak Rawia.
Tentara Israel mengatakan usai serangan Hizbullah tersebut, 18 tentara Israel terluka.
Namun jumlah korban diperkirakan akan meningkat dalam beberapa waktu mendatang.
Diketahui serangan Hizbullah dianggap sebagai eskalasi yang unik.
Hal itu karena dimaksudkan untuk menimbulkan korban sebanyak-banyaknya di antara pasukan pendudukan Israel.
