Uno spaventoso assalto ad un bancomat ha svegliato di soprassalto i residenti di Villa Verucchio nel Riminese nella notte tra il 6 e il 7 agosto. Alle quattro del mattino un gruppo di malviventi ha fatto esplodere un ordigno rudimentale nello sportello della filiale della Banca Malatestiana di via Tenuta Amalia. Prima i banditi avrebbero forzato l’ingresso, dopo avrebbero piazzato le cariche facendo saltare il bancomat. Pesantissima la deflagrazione che ha provocato danni ancora in corso di quantificazione. Il commando era composto da almeno tre persone poi fuggite con il bottino, anche questo in corso di quantificazione. I banditi avevano il volto coperto: nella fuga hanno disseminato la strada e la via principale, la strada Marecchiese con centinaia di chiodi.
