Komunitas anak muda tersebut diberi nama PKB Ecogen.
Peresmian PKB Ecogen ini dilakukan di kawasan Blok M, Jakarta Selatan, Sabtu (12/7/2025). Sejumlah artis turut hadir meramaikan, di antaranya Iyeth Bustami, Ikke Nurjanah, Inul Daratista, Ayu Ting Ting, Lesti Kejora, hingga Elvy Sukaesih.
Cak Imin menilai bahwa kerusakan lingkungan hidup yang terjadi saat ini sangat ekstrem. Tidak hanya di dalam negeri namun juga di luar negeri.
Pria yang juga Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pemberdayaan Masyarakat itu berharap apa yang dikampanyekan PKB melalui PKB Ecogen bisa berdampak luas meski kekuatan PKB di parlemen masih kecil.
